“I'm mesmerized by how self-limiting we are towards ourselves as women. I had to get out of the mindset that this was a photo about how I looked and instead reminding myself that this is the embodiment of me as a woman getting in touch with this myself and this entire self experience. I remember thinking after the shoot "wow, that was pretty flipping phenomenal!" That fact that I was able to let go for the time I did. It was really a delicious feeling. But had it been any other photographer , I don't think my experience would have been the same. I was amazed at how Christy allowed me space the way she did even though we didn't know each other. She's phenomenal! This coming from the woman who doesn't let people in.”
