“This experience has made me realize that I must step out of my own way and start accepting some things about myself. That I am beautiful and a pretty cool chick. Other people see it so why can't I? It was all about self reflection for me and why I think about myself the way I do. Our perception of youth in our 40's changes. You see it as fleeting time. But then to be in your 50's and know you can still feel beautiful and sexy, it's special. This experience pushed me into owning my femininity. Something I want to push, explore further and really own it for myself.”
